We work daily with Siemens (S7-300/400, S7-1200/1500, TIA Portal), Allen-Bradley / Rockwell (CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Studio 5000), Beckhoff TwinCAT, and CODESYS-based controllers. On the SCADA and HMI side we deliver with WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware / AVEVA, and open stacks built on Node-RED, Grafana and InfluxDB where a lighter footprint fits better.
Yes. A large part of our work is exactly this: recovering undocumented systems. We read the live program from the controller, reconstruct the control logic and I/O map, document it, and only then propose changes. You end up owning a clearly documented system instead of a black box.
Almost always. A staged retrofit keeps the mechanics and field wiring you already trust and replaces only the obsolete control layer: processor, HMI, drives or network. This keeps cost and downtime down and avoids re-qualifying an entire machine when only the electronics are at end of life.
We prepare and test as much as possible offline: the new program is validated on the bench or against a simulation before we touch the line. Cutover is planned for a maintenance window, with the old system kept ready to restore. For critical lines we can run a parallel proof stage so production only switches once the new control is proven.
Yes. We collect data straight from PLCs and meters via OPC UA, Modbus or MQTT, store it in a time-series database, and present it as live dashboards (OEE, downtime, energy). Where needed we push the same data upstream to an existing MES or ERP rather than building a parallel island.
Yes, through secured remote access agreed with your IT. Remote work covers diagnostics, program adjustments, and guided support while your staff are at the machine. When a fault is physical or safety-related we come on site.
We design and document to the relevant standards for the equipment: IEC 61131-3 for control software structure, IEC 62443 principles for OT security, and machine-safety requirements per the applicable directives. Safety functions are specified, implemented and validated as a defined part of the project, not an afterthought.
Discrete and process manufacturing: packaging, food and beverage, automotive suppliers, building materials, and general machine building. The common thread is production lines that must keep running and cannot be experimented on lightly.
Small scoped work is fixed-price once we understand the system. Larger or open-ended engineering runs on a transparent time-and-materials basis with an agreed estimate and regular check-ins. Either way you get a written scope before work starts, and there is a quote tool on this site for a fast first estimate.
We are based in Timisoara, Romania, and work with clients across the region and the EU. Routine engineering is done remotely; commissioning, retrofits and fault-finding are done on site.
