A replacement<\/strong> means a new control system designed from the ground up, sometimes alongside mechanical changes.<\/p> Before quoting either path, we look at: the age and support status of the controller, spare-parts availability, how well the logic is documented, your downtime tolerance, and where you want the line to be in five years. Often the answer is a phased retrofit — modernising the control system now and leaving room to digitalise (SCADA, MES, energy monitoring) later.<\/p> There is no universal answer, only the right answer for your line.
